Created for and used by upper class Japanese women for centuries before mirrored glass came to Japan, the handmirrors of this period were of a brighter bronze than earlier mirrors and could be highly polished for better reflection. Mirror measures 7 1 4" in diameter and 11" in length. Surfaces retain nearly original luster.
