The 32 fold braided covering of the Globe 5000 is placed on a polyester soft intermediate coat of staple fibers. Underneath this is the impregnated Dyneema core, which gives the rope a high breaking load. This construction facilitates the splicing and provides optimum protection of the rope even in the stripped off state.
