Firstly, I painted the background at home, then drew and inked it on location, and then painted the rest at home. There were some Superb fairywrens flitting around while I was drawing, so I drew two in the top left hand corner. This painting is on Clairefontaine 300gsm cold pressed, watercolour paper.
