Fireplace and Chimney racking typical of the selector's cottagesA rendered fireplace and brick chimney stand at the centre of a derelict room inside the Mill Pond Farm homestead at Jembaicumbene, New South Wales. Whitewashed fibre cement walls, a scattered timber plank floor, and partly exposed roof framing surround it. The farmhouse dates to the 1830s, when William Henry Roberts and Andrew Badgery established the original pastoral estate on Walbanga country. Part of the Mill Pond Farm series.
