Primula marginata 'Marven' bor but not as pink asA wonderful hardy little gem. This, 'Ethel Barker' and 'Blairside Yellow' are my favs. They aren't flashy, but they are stayers as well as petite which makes them a collectors choice. Some UK nurseries show Marven with a very bright eye, this Hokonui version, isn't quite as contrasting with the mauve. The lovely toothed leaf margins add interest, as does the pale green foliage coated with a silvery powder. Perhaps it's photoshopped? Not a very good
