They look like twins to me, although one has long hair and one has short hair. I wonder if the shorter hair girl had been sick and had her hair cropped. They are wearing matching dresses. The ambrotype comes in a full case behind mat. The emulsion side is protected but there are still some light scratches. The preserver is broken at each corner but stays securely in place inside fo
